On our way to Atlanta yesterday, my daughter and I decided to stop in OCharleys Restaurant in Manchester TN for a quick dinner.
They have a new menu out with 2 for $15.99 options, which was a great deal!
My daughter had the Bruschetta Chicken, and I had the Mushroom & Bleu Cheese Sirloin:
OH MY GOSH. Absolutely delicious!
We added a soup & salad, she had the soup and I had a caesar salad:
Here’s a quick video from the O’Charley’s website about the current deal:
I usually have the Cedar Plank Salmon with Loaded Broccoli, or the Prime Rib. Both are fabulous. But since they had the new menu at our O’Charley’s Restaurant… I thought we’d give it a try! I can’t describe just how good my meal was, and low carb even!, so I’ll just SHOW you how good it was… 😀

I check your website daily. It a great motivator and great source of information. Your lowcarb menu options are especially helpful. It is frustrating that a person following a low carb diet cannot easily find something to eat at a drive-thru without pulling apart a sandwich and making a mess. How hard is it for Wendy’s or McDonald’s or even Subway to contract with a vendor ato purchase a low carb bun or wrap for a burger or chicken sandwich. I wish we could all make some noise and get some of these restaurants to accomodate us. Just recently the media has denounced, once again, that Americans eat too much sugar. A low fat/low calorie diet is packed with sugar; yet a low carb roll or wrap is impossible to find. Let’s make some noise!!!!!!

I’m so glad you’re enjoying the site & finding it helpful, Josie! π Fast Food can definitely be a challenge. I do what you do – pull things apart and eat them with my fingers or with a fork. But I try not to “eat on the go” if I don’t have to, for that reason.
Fortunately most of the places carry salads and other items – the small chili from Wendy’s for example, is only 15 net carbs.

Hey Lynn,
Lookin Delicious!
LOL Would O’Charley’s be termed a “family restaurant”? I remember a family restaurants that we ate at in New Hampshire but I can’t remember the name. I think it was associated with a dairy. Lots of food and good too.

I don’t think it’s the same one, but yes – O’Charley’s is a family restaurant. Very nice atmosphere, great service, reasonable prices – and tons of selection!
