I have some GREAT news for you! But also some bad news, unfortunately.
There are lots of updates to catch up on… so here we go! 😉
In my last update I mentioned I was going to do a clean keto test on ChocZero syrups & dipping cups, to see if they knock me out of ketosis or affect my weight loss.
First the bad news: The ChocZero Dipping Cups are NOT back in stock yet.
I’m crossing my fingers they will be available again soon!
The GOOD news: They do NOT knock me out of ketosis. 🙂
I’ve tested both the ChocZero Dipping Cups (all 3 flavors) and several flavors of the ChocZero Syrups. Not only did I remain in ketosis, but my weight has been going back down again lately too. WIN! 🙂

More good news: I found a ZERO CARB breakfast sausage with no artificial ingredients in the freezer section last week, and they’re GREAT for a super quick low carb breakfast – without all the junk! I’ll share the package & nutrition label with you below.
More bad news… the Peanut Butter Keto Kookies are sold out again. 🙄
TIP: click here and “sign up for an email alert” when they’re back in stock, because they sell out FAST! Our coupon code there is: LOWCARBTRAVELER
More GOOD news: I scored us a discount code for Ketologie! 🙂
They came out with single serving packets of their awesome Keto Shake Mix too, but (bad news again! lol) they are already sold out of those.
I love SO many of their products – the Sweet Like Sugar, Roast Chicken Bone Broth, Collagen Protein, Chocolate & Vanilla Keto Shakes, and they have a brand new product I’m testing this week.

You can read my thoughts on the 21 Day Keto Kick Start Program and all of the Ketologie products at that link.
I also (finally!) broke down the Keto Shake Mix measurements. A full serving is 2 scoops, which is 60 grams. That comes to 1/2 cup of shake mix, or 8 TBSP. The Vanilla is 1 net carb per full serving, the Chocolate is zero net carbs.
For those of you wanting to use it as a healthy alternative to other coffee creamer options, that should prove helpful! 😉

I mentioned I had a FUN “kitchen experiment” (recipe) idea to share with you. It was a brilliant idea lol… but ended up as a flop. 😛
I’ll share that FUN FAIL with you next, to see if you can help me figure out how to fix it… and also show you how I saved it. Because I hate throwing away good food! 🙂
With all those fun updates out of the way, below are my low carb meals & macros for yesterday (Saturday). I’ll have to catch you up on some of the other great meals & recipes I’ve been enjoying in an upcoming post too, because I’ve been eating GOOD lately!;)
Saturday’s Low Carb Meals
For breakfast yesterday I had my favorite combo of healthy low carb foods: 1/2 cup (60 grams) of pecans, 1/4 cup Daisy brand cottage cheese (half a serving), and 4 small diced strawberries.
It comes to 5 net carbs and 85% healthy fat.
For lunch I made a big juicy hamburger steak. It was just over 1/3 pound, and seasoned with garlic & onion powder and a little salt.
I pan fried a whole diced medium sized zucchini in real butter to go with it. That made for a quick & easy delicious low carb meal!
For dinner… I didn’t feel like adulting. 🙂
I had cream cheese, peanut butter and a ChocZero Dark Chocolate Dipping Cup drizzled over the top. YUM – it’s like peanut butter & chocolate cream pie! 🙂
I’m using the Philadelphia 5 Simple Ingredients cream cheese that is half a carb per ounce instead of 2 carbs per ounce.
Our coupon code for ChocZero is: TravelingLowCarb – the dipping cups are out of stock, but the Chocolate Syrup is great too!

This is the zero carb sausage I mentioned that I found in the freezer section last week. It’s Smithfield Foods brand, and I bet they have a store locator on their website if you want to find it near you. Here is the nutrition facts label from my package.
It has fewer ingredients than ANY sausage I’ve ever found, and you just microwave it for 30 seconds and it’s ready to eat! I love convenience. 🙂 It tastes great too. I had it for breakfast this morning with fried eggs.;)
I am SO thrilled to have finally “clean tested” the ChocoZero products and find that they do NOT throw me out of ketosis or stall my weight loss.
Which means I’m back to enjoying the dipping cups & syrups again. YAY!
I was missing my chocolate, lol. 🙂
In other “good news” I’m back to doing my Tricep Dips daily, and have been doing those consistently for over a week now. I also bought a new pair of walking shoes that I *LOVE* for my town walks with Slim (my great dane).
He’s quite old now, but still loves to get out. He can’t do the 3-4 miles we used to do together, but he’s still up for a fast paced half mile or maybe a little more. I just have to keep an eye on him and respect his limits.
He’s an old man, but still a FRISKY old man – for a little stretch anyway. 😉
How are things going with you this week?
Leave a comment and let’s chat!:)
