The Spring Low Carb Challenge just kicked off this month. You can still join us if you haven’t already! 🙂 You can get all the details on the low carb challenge page.
Today is our Week Four Weigh In, so it’s time to check in and share your total number of pounds and/or inches lost since Monday April 3rd!;)
You can see my 5 Day Food Diary for all of my low carb meals from Tuesday through Saturday, and my low carb foods for yesterday (Sunday) are below.
I did not cook AT ALL (lol) and enjoyed an EASY low carb day of interesting, tasty and even healthy foods. 🙂
Sunday’s Low Carb Meals
I decided to have cookies for breakfast. The brand new Double Chocolate Keto Kookie, that is… topped with creamy peanut butter. YUM!
For lunch I made my favorite “low carb cereal” which is practically a daily staple for me. It’s such a great combination of healthy LCHF foods with great macros!
It’s 1/2 cup pecan pieces (or pecan halves broken up), 1/4 cup Daisy Brand cottage cheese and 4 small strawberries:
My breakfast was closer to lunch, and my lunch was VERY late, so by last night I just enjoyed a quick snack for my “last meal” (aka dinner).
I had about an ounce of Pili Nuts and an ounce of colby jack cheese.
These Pili Nuts are still wild harvested at the moment and VERY nutrient dense! You can read up on them at EatPiliNuts.com. If you decide to order some, use code LOWCARBTRAVELER (all caps) for a special discount from me to you. 😉
Here’s my MyFitnessPal Food Diary for Sunday:

I have a crazy full work week, so I’m trying to figure out where I can fit in my next hike. 🙂 Otherwise I’ll have to do quick, easy muscle building exercises at home between consulting sessions. Things like Tricep Dips and quick workouts.
Oh – and I have something VERY cool lined up for you on Wednesday evening… so stay tuned for the details on that!
How are things going for you?

I’ve had a good week and my weight continues to stay the same at 135 AND that’s okay. I’m happy with that. I love this woe and am becoming quiteβ the lc cook and baker. My chocolate fudge cookies look just like the ones pictured on this post! They are delicious!
Vickie says
Marti – would you be kind enough to share your Chocolate Fudge Cookie recipe with us? Thank you in advance.
Lynn Terry says
They do sound delicious! π
Congrats on another great week, and maintaining your weight! I was right at 135 pounds myself before I got sick in January (and stayed sick for ~3 months – ugh!), so I’m working my way back in that direction. π
How tall are you by the way? I’m 5′ 4.5″
Michelle says
139 lb 9 to go, getting terribly hard ugh!! But keep on keeping on right! My trouble now is eating enough, under stressful situations I tend not to eat and it slows everything down to almost a halt!
Lynn Terry says
That last 10-20 pounds is the MOST challenging. π I’m right there with you! But losing slowly is so much better than… gaining. π
I have that problem too, by the way. I try to snack on small but very high fat / high calorie foods in that situation – something like raw pecan halves. That really helps!

I signed up yesterday, downloaded the tracker and the adobe hack, installed them but can’t seem to find them this morning or sign in to the site. Any suggestions? Do I have to sign in to use the tracker?
Lynn Terry says
Hi Donald,
If you followed the instructions here to set it up in your browser: http://www.travelinglowcarb.com/4448/myfitnesspal-hack/ all you have to do is go to the MyFitnessPal website and log in – and you should see your net carbs column there now.
