Just in time for the holidays: hot cocoa, peppermint white hot chocolate, and gorgeous low carb candy creations that look like you slaved in the kitchen!
All very low carb, but because they have NO sugar alcohol and they’re also gluten free and diabetic friendly – they’re perfect for everyone in the family. The dark chocolate line is even vegan & dairy free…
But they’re SO good, even unsuspecting sugar-eating carbaholics will LOVE them!
I’ve been having so much FUN with the ChocZero low carb chocolate dipping cups!
They sent me two canisters (20 cups) of the Dark Chocolate to review for you so I’ll show you what I made – and tell you WHY these are so fun & awesome.;)
They also come in Milk Chocolate and White Chocolate, which I cannot wait to try. 🙂
The Dark Chocolate cups are 4 net carbs, Milk Chocolate is 3 net carbs, and the White Chocolate is only 1 net carb per dipping cup.
They love our community, by the way…
In addition to sponsoring this post so you could learn more about their dipping cups, they are paying me 5% of sales – and I negotiated YOU a 10% discount on ANY of their products.
You can Browse ChocoZero Products and use the code TravelingLowCarb for our exclusive discount. 🙂 They have low carb hot chocolate, low carb chocolate squares & more. They even have White Chocolate Premium Hot Cocoa, which would be perfect for the holidays with a splash of Sugar Free Peppermint Syrup!
Make Perfectly Portion-Controlled Individual Low Carb Treats
What I really love about the ChocZero Dipping Cups is that you can have a quick little portion-controlled treat anytime you want something sweet.
You can pop one cup in the microwave to melt the chocolate for dipping, or make a single treat or one-serving dessert in a matter of minutes!
I love these MUCH more than I expected I would! ♥
I’ll take you on a tour of all the fun I’ve had with them so far. 🙂

What’s so FUN about these ChocZero cups is that you can go from this…
… to THIS – in a matter of minutes! 🙂
A fun, easy way to make healthy low carb treats – with no mess!
I love the fact that ChocZero does NOT use sugar alcohols in their chocolate dipping cups, just good quality ingredients.
You can click here to see the nutrition facts & ingredients.
The dark chocolate dipping cups are 4 net carbs, the milk chocolate is 3 net carbs, and the white chocolate cups are only 1 net carb.
While they’re great for dipping and drizzling – which I’ll show you in a sec 😉 – my favorite thing is that you can add ANY healthy low carb ingredient or super food to create individual treats that are totally guilt-free!
I used things like Pili Nuts, Peanut Butter, Almond Butters and Chunky Musli:
I also made chocolate dipped strawberries, and next I want to use the White Chocolate Dipping Cups to make raspberry macadamia nut candies. 🙂
All with real foods and healthy ingredients!
Here’s how my experiment with the ingredients above turned out:
They’re much prettier in person. 🙂
Aaron said, “Wow! Those look decadent!“ They really did come out pretty, like something you would find in a high end candy store.
And I made them all right in the little dipping cups. 🙂
You could also use your candy molds, I tested cupcake papers too and those worked great. There’s literally no end to the creative candy ideas you could come up with!
They’re also GREAT for PORTABLE low carb treats. I’ll show you that too…
First, a fun photo tour of the low carb candies above:
My personal favorite is the Low Carb Peanut Butter Cup. I warmed up the ChocZero Dipping Cup so the chocolate was liquid, added one TBSP of peanut butter, put it in the freezer for 20-30 minutes, and it came out perfect! 🙂
I also made a second batch with crushed Pili Nuts on top:
Delicious! 🙂 ♥
My second favorite, and honestly it would be a CLOSE tie, are the candies I made with KZ Chunky Musli which is a flavorful crunchy paleo mix full of coconut and nuts & seeds:
I only used half a serving of the musli the first time, but I liked that one so much I doubled it up and used a full serving of it in the second one:
Here’s what it looks like on the inside:
YUM! 🙂 ♥
You probably know I have a SERIOUS obsession with Pili Nuts, so of course I had to try those too! They’re such a soft, buttery nut that they crushed up very nicely:
Those were Aaron’s favorite. 😉
The fourth candy I made in this batch turned out HUGE. I used two full tablespoons of Legendary Foods Pecan Pie Raw Almond Butter since it was only 2 net carbs for the whole serving (lower than peanut butter).
Aaron has a serious sweet tooth, with a THING for pecan pie I’ve discovered (lol), so I made this one just for him. 😉
His reaction to this one: “That is RICH!”
That’s what’s so cool about ChocZero Dipping Cups: You can make a whole “low carb party tray” of different candy creations in just a few minutes by adding different ingredients to each cup. Or you can make a single-serving perfectly portioned dessert – without having to make a whole batch of candy! 🙂
Surprise: ChocZero Dipping Cups = Fun PORTABLE Low Carb Treats!
When Rhea told me they were great for traveling, I did NOT believe her. 😉 So I decided to test that theory…
She’s the “voice” behind @ChocZero btw, and such a great person! I really love how much attention they pay to social media discussions and customer service. They’re a company of real people, with a real passion for their products.
I do love that you can take the cups with you and microwave them in a hotel room or anywhere for dipping, or to make a quick single dessert by adding something to it and putting it in the refrigerator for a bit.
I’ll definitely be traveling with the dipping cups!!
She meant you could travel with the treats you make though, so I made up two and took them with me on my last 3-day low carb road trip.
I made a peanut butter cup, and a paleo crunch cup:
I melted the chocolate in the dipping cups, added the ingredients, tossed them in the freezer and finished packing. Then when I left for my trip I popped them into a little container and brought them along:
I was on the road for FOUR hours, driving across Tennessee on a sunny 74 degree humid day. I had serious doubts. 😐 😉 I got to my destination and put them in the freezer, and didn’t even bother looking to see if they turned into a liquid melted mess.
I was pleasantly surprised to take them out the next day and discover they looked exactly the same as they did the day I made them! I was at my daughter’s when I enjoyed them, and she said “Wow those are pretty, Mom.” 🙂
My daughter was impressed because she KNOWS I don’t bake or cook -lol.
More Fun Ideas: It’s Like Low Carb “Magic Shell” Chocolate Sauce!
Did I mention I’m having FUN with the ChocZero dipping cups?! 🙂
Fall weather setting in and the holidays approaching has Aaron craving Pecan Pie, and it has ME craving chocolate covered strawberries – a favorite gift & treat I’ve always loved at Christmas.:)
So last night I decided to make chocolate dipped strawberries:
They’re delicious for dipping and eating right out of the dipping cup, but I covered a few strawberries and put them on wax paper and into the refrigerator – and they came out just like the gourmet berries I used to order! 🙂
(er, those used to cost me ~$50 box, lol)
I didn’t use all the chocolate in the cup, so next I decided to make a pretty low carb dessert by using it as a “chocolate sauce drizzle” over Low Carb Donuts by Know Foods:
That made for a BEAUTIFUL dessert. 🙂
When it’s hot, it’s a rich creamy sauce. When it’s room temperature it sort of “sets” – which is great for making low carb cakes, cupcakes, or pretty drizzles on your low carb desserts – because it will STAY PUT where you drizzle it. 🙂
And of course when it’s refrigerated or frozen, it sets up like a candy bar.
The ChocoZero Dipping Cups are so versatile, and so much fun! 🙂 ♥
I’m sold! And I scored you a discount… 🙂
I hope you enjoyed my low carb chocolate photo tour today. 🙂 As you can see, you can do a lot of fun things with these little cups – at home or on the go.
And the things I like about them MOST: no mess, no fuss, no ridiculous recipes or strange ingredients, no enormous batch of ONE thing – just fast, easy, FUN, decadent little low carb desserts!
You just pop the cup in the microwave, drop in your favorite ingredients, then freeze.
All right in the cup.
It’s absolutely flawless and idiot-proof! 😉

I’m off to make some eggs, and I’m going to enjoy my chocolate covered strawberries with my breakfast this morning. 🙂
My mind is spinning with even more creative ideas for low carb candy recipes, and I am most excited about trying the White Chocolate Dipping Cups next! Especially since those are only 1 net carb per cup.;)
I’m thinking I could swirl the white and dark chocolate even, and maybe even swirl in peanut butter or one of the new Legendary Nut Butters. So many ideas!!
I would love to hear YOUR thoughts!

Iβll have to order me some of these. Chocolate covered strawberries are my absolute favorite!!
I just made my Good Deeβs brownies… itβs been so long since Iβve licked a spoon clean (Iβm not afraid of raw egg π ). I made 1/2 with pecans and 1/2 plain because I wanted to try them both. I love them both but will probably make them with pecans when I have them just for that extra dose of good fats and all that good stuff. Sooo good! Super easy to make also. Iβm not a cook either. Well I can cook, I just donβt have the time most days.
Lynn Terry says
I love chocolate covered strawberries too. π
I’m so glad you enjoyed Good Dee’s mix! The blondies are my absolute favorite, especially with pecans and cream cheese: http://www.travelinglowcarb.com/17530/low-carb-blondies-recipe/
I’m like you – I love that they are SO easy to make!

How many servings do you get from one of these canisters or packages. Or how many cups. All these products are nice and wonderful but can become very costly.
Lynn Terry says
Hi Gina π
You get 10 dipping cups per canister, and they make large dessert portions when you add your favorite nuts or nut butters – so I usually cut them in half.
You can also make smaller candies by using a candy mold, but it’s so much fun to make them right in the cup – and so easy!
Carrie says
Just ordered these. Can’t wait to try them. Thanks!

Are these ketosis friendly?
Lynn Terry says
They are keto friendly BUT sadly they stopped making them. π
